finleysmaid
does anyone know if the current system will stop or will the companies already providing still be involved? (eg edenred/care4 etc)
FSFRebecca
Their names haven't been mentioned at any of the meetings I have been to - HMRC said (at the NDNA South meeting) that parents would go on themselves to the HMRC 'account' no mention of anyone else and they would link themselves to their provider who has registered separately and then monies paid in by parents would be increased by 20% (up to £2000) and then released out of that account to the provider..... so I can't see where Edenred et al fit in to that?? MagicStar
As far as I understand, parents already using Childcare Vouchers will continue to be able to do so, should they wish. However, new parents will have to use the new Tax Free Childcare account.
finleysmaid
Ah a bit of an update on this!! if you are a registered charity you will not be able to register on the TFChildcare site until mid feb. Apparently they will ring you and deal with you then (as they don't know how to organise this at the moment !!...this is a quote from them!) As a charity you will have a UTR but it contains letter which are not recognised on the system Hope this helps!
MagicStar
Oops! I think the developers of the website missed a trick.

Mouseketeer
apparently THEY will ring you...well at least that's what they are saying (at the setting!)Thanks again FM, I did phone, straight through, they took some details and said they'd contact me when they were ready. If phoning them have ready: Charity number, ofsted URN, PAYE rreference and ID number quoted on the letter they sent telling you to register :-) One thing sorted and then the next payroll letter turns up :-( Edited December 6, 2016 by Mouseketeer
Guest
Further update... We are also a charity, and therefore couldn't initially register. I rang them in October and they took down my details. I have now just received a letter from them telling me what the charity's Unique Taxpayer Reference is - so theoretically I should now be able to register. finleysmaid
ah yes we also have just contacted them. Can i suggest that anyone wanting to sign up rings them and makes sure your details are on their system...they should be sending out UTR's out shortly to charity settings!
