josies29
I have always adopted the practice that a practitioner holding a level 3 can only administer medication. However I cannot find any supporting guidance for this practice? What practice does everyone else adopt within their policies? Thanks
finleysmaid
just a trained person in mine.but all of us are first aid trained so not a problem. I would actually prefer their keyworker to do it , as they know them best and we always have a witness too.

eyfs1966
I think the real issue here is not whether someone is level 2/3 or 4, but rather do they holda paediatric first aid qualification. We have staff without childcare qualifications, but they are first aid trained....Id let them administer first aid and medications.
