diesel10
If you are PLA members you can do the educare safeguarding online for free. I've just done the safer recruitment and prevent training this afternoon. They are user friendly and you can download and print the certificate afterwards. sunnyday
I - as 'designated person' always attend 'face to face' training as offered by Local safeguarding Board.........but staff have completed online training with NSPCC and this has been deemed acceptable by Ofsted
Guest
Like sunnyday - our designated person attends face to face training - all other staff access on line refreshers!
AliceinWonderland
I send staff on face to face courses if it's their first time but otherwise do refreshers online, we used 'highspeed training' last time and it is a recognised course, have also used them for food hygiene and health and safety courses. Although not free like like the PLA (not a member at present) they were cheaper than our LA.
