thumperrabbit
Which is a result in its self! But I've now lost my one of my 2 general members (as she's now the chair!) Anyway my question is, as she was on committee before (and had crb through Ofsted), Do I (we) have to do anything? as basically she's just swopped roles
Fredbear
Fantastic. If they already made up your registered body then my thinking is no.
Mouseketeer
I think 'yes' to tell ofsted, but would think their crb is still good, I thought you had to tell ofsted about any changes to committee members as they are really the ones in charge.....sorry if wrong
eyfs1966
If chair is to be the nominated person then yes, you do need to tell ofsted.
Fredbear
Hi I suppose if they were not an officer before you could just email or send a letter stating changes, but they should already be on their list of committee members. We are also a committee run setting but as the Manager, I am the nominated person for dealings with Ofsted. A call first might be the best idea. narnia
Always let them know.............better to waste their time than for you to get clobbered for a mistake
blondie
yes i think you do as the chair has to have an interview with ofsted to ensure they are a suitable person. x
Mouseketeer
I am also nominated person, but chair was interviewed by phone, as Narnia says just cover yourself
ssstepingstones
I thought only the nominated person needs a suitable person interview but you could complete an EY3 form to update Ofsted on leavers and starters. This is available on their website.
thumperrabbit
Thank you all - think I will just tell them to cover my back and as Narnia suggests give them something to do
sunnyday
Thank you all - think I will just tell them to cover my back and as Narnia suggests give them something to do But thumper - they are far too busy producing new posters every other week
eyfs1966
interseting, I am the nominated person but have never had a suitable perso interview. I did submit an EY2 and a health check form (even though Ofsted said I didn't need to initially and then they changed their mind) and was questioned by telephone by an Ofsted person who was most interested in my gallbladder operation!!! WHY???? Why is it always so darned difficult to get clear advice on all this?
