Verona
One of my members of staff brought this in to show us all - it made us laugh - I think it is so true of many toddlers!! A TODDLER'S RULE OF POSSESSION If I like it, it's mine If it's in my hand, it's mine If I can take it from you, it's mine If I had it a little while ago, it's mine If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way If I am building something, ALL the pieces are mine If it looks just like mine, it's mine If I saw it first, it's mine If you were playing with something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine If it's broken, it's yours!!
Cait
Ha, yes I posted this a year or so ago, it's brilliant, isn't it
Panders
One of our more, shall we say challenging children, had a t shirt with this on a few years ago, and it was so true of her anyway!
HappyMaz
Peggy first brought this to my attention years and years ago - I always think of her when I see it come round again! Although from memory, the version she posted might have been longer. It briliantly sums up what possession means to a toddler! Love it. Rea
There's also a version about ferrets and both are so true!
