Nursery World has just reported that a further 'short' consultation will be issued (probably next week) after your responses to the EYFS consultation earlier this year. The new consultation, according to NW, 'will look at specific aspects of the revised framework, and will be published alongside the Government's official response to the EYFS consultation'. eyfs1966 Posted December 19, 2011 Share Posted December 19, 2011 oooh goodey, a consultaion on a consultation, before we have seen the results of the last consultation.....it feels like the revised EYFS is turning into a money making exercise for someone out there. However, despite my cynicism, I will keep an eye out for it and will respond and would urge all of you to do the same. It's open until 19th January, so there's time to respond after your Christmas break, and we'll send out a reminder early in the New Year so if the festivities damage your memory we will hopefully manage to jog you in time. Find it here - quite a long document breaking down how you responded to the proposals, and the government's views on those responses - also which bits are not yet decided and why they are continuing with a further short consultation.
