HoneyPancakes
I have a summerhouse in my garden which we use for craft and a bit of storage. Out of action for a while now! A blackbird has made her nest on the top shelf. She's so busy - in and out - got to set up a camera in there but can watch her from the kitchen and the playroom. I feel blessed! Guest Spiral
It's been such fantastic weather that many of the birds seem to be on their second nest/family this year! Busy, busy, but amazingly good for our environment....I wonder who will be able to catch a picture of their nesting birds and whether we'll manage to see any very unusual places to nest in - such as the level crossing barrier that was featured on Springwatch last year! HoneyPancakes
Two dead babies out of the shed - about three metres away from the nest. So sad and confused about what might have happened to them. Both look well-fed, with feathers coming in. Honey
