Hi all,

Well I am officially in charge the leader having left on Friday!

I'm planning on blitzing the place over the six weeks hols and streamlinng the documentation on display the foyer looks very scruffy, with at least 20 poster up on the walls, i now i need to display the ofsted registration certificate,

But what else needs to be promently displayed, i thought about putting some items in a file for parents reference, but wasnt sure which could come down. it just looks so scruffy, and im sure parents dont take any notice of any of it!

thoughts, please

You need to have your insurance certificate up and we also have small info posters showing where parents can get help for SEN children and counselling (Winston's Wish). We have some EYFS info and 'Do you know who your key person is?' poster as well as staff photos with names

Less is more - all we have up is

*Health and Safety Poster - the new one is quite pretty really, far more interesting than the old beige one

* Insurance Certificate

*Ofsted Registration Certificate

* Sure Start perspex plaque

*Fire and evacuation procedure ( but there are copies of that all round the setting anyway)

*Digital photo frame with rolling photos of the days/weeks activities on it

Things like the complaints poster /parent info etc are all on a separate parents board in the cloakroom area, find it gets looked at more as parents tend to congregate there when they are waiting for thier offspring. :o

Guest colechin

when Ofsted visited us, they wanted to see the 'Suitable' person letter on display.

we also have a suggestion box.

I don't either!

Does that mean we're not suitable then, Cait? In my case my registration certificate is proof that I'm suitable because I'm the registered person. So I guess I'm covered! :o
