Cait Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Last year the FSf logo went all snowy and Christmassy. Is there something I can do to get it on, or is it something Steve will do? Quote
HappyMaz Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Last year the FSf logo went all snowy and Christmassy. Is there something I can do to get it on, or is it something Steve will do? It is something Steve does and he has already done it - the Christmas decs are up and looking lovely on my home page Cait - you could try a refresh or logging out and logging in again. If not, Steve'll know what to do... Maz Quote
Cait Posted December 13, 2009 Author Posted December 13, 2009 Logged out and in again and it was there, then found my thread to thank you and it's gone again!! Quote
Guest Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Mine's Christmassy too. Good luck with finding it Cait! Lesley Quote
HappyMaz Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Logged out and in again and it was there, then found my thread to thank you and it's gone again!! Are you sensing a conspiracy Cait? Have you upset the Christmas fairy? I'm sure Steve will have something more constructive to offer in the way of advice. Maz Quote
hali Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 have you not been a good girl this year Cait Quote
Upsy Daisy Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 I think it could be something to do with cookies. Some people commented that my avatar hadn't changed when I was talking about it and Roy said it was because they needed to delete their cookies. I'm not sure how though - sorry Cait! Quote
Inge Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 isn't it a hard refresh you have to do.. shift F5 works on mine then all is clear... Inge Quote
beth1 Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 I could see the Christmas tree. Inge is right about what she said. Since this year I couldn't see it. I have also put up my christmassy/winter avatar. Beth Quote
Cait Posted December 14, 2009 Author Posted December 14, 2009 Nope - F5 doesn't do anything. If I log out it's Christmassy, but as soon as I click 'log in' it goes. Oh well, at least I can say I've seen it! Quote
Cait Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 FOUND IT! Right at the bottom of the screen, by RSS, choose FSF Christmas skin! done! Quote
HappyMaz Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 FOUND IT! Right at the bottom of the screen, by RSS, choose FSF Christmas skin! done! Is that better Cait? Wouldn't want you to think Christmas was passing you by! Maz Quote
Cait Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 Well it's just nice to be the same as everyone else sometimes - wouldn't like to be thought 'Ba, humbug'!! Quote
HappyMaz Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Well it's just nice to be the same as everyone else sometimes - wouldn't like to be thought 'Ba, humbug'!! Well I'd just like to say thanks Cait - I had no idea you could get the Christmas decorations on every page of the Forum! I just went to find the bit where it said you could select the Christmas skin. So for the past few years I've been missing out on the Christmas decorations except when I visit the home page. Not so much Bah, humbug as Doh! Maz Quote
Cait Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 Fantastic - so I have helped someone else too! Quote
