thumperrabbit
Anybody buying anything different to books? We give our leavers a book in Summer so try to buy something different for Christmas, although it's getting more difficult these days, books seem to work out the cheapest. Cait
we give books for Christmas, birthdays and leaving! Can never have too many books when you are 3,4 and 5! We also give a colouring book and crayons at Christmas and in summer the children who are leaving us get a personalised pencil case and crayons

Buttercup
regarding books are you registered with scholastic because they are simular to the book people but you send out leaflets to the parents and get commission on books sold. this always pays for our christmas books. buttercup
Panders
We used to use Schoolink. They sent individual parent brochures, school brochure, posters etc. parents did not have to pay for postage if they quoted the pre-schools registration number and had the books delivered to us, but they could make individual orders rather than wait for a whole group order to go in. They had good bargains and the pre-school used to get vouchers every term to use to discount as we wished. Schoolink was taken over by Schoolastic in the summer, still trying to get used to the differences in their system, but this time round didn't like what they were offering in the brochure as much as used to like Schoolinks,
Buttercup
have you had the christmas one because that is different than the one in september. it is more like the old one but A4 size. we had one sent to us for preschool children. school had a different one which i thought was better so have requested that from them it has a wider range of books. buttercup
