Sue R Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 Not truly in the spirit of this thread, but I've had the best start to the year!! My poor long suffering husband and I spent the day fighting with the computer because we've been having so much trouble recently. To cut a long story short, it seems our main prob was that the automatic Defrag. stopped running months ago, judging from the length of time the manual running took. Computer is now flying and it's so fast on here that I'm dizzy!! Maybe I'll be able to get into the chatroom again, now !! Sue Quote

SueFinanceManager Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 Hi all Happy New Year, sorry it's taken me so long to get my act together and get on here, the excesses of christmas have meant I am struggling to fit through the doorway to the cubby hole where this computer lives Best wishes to you all for a happy and prosperous 2005 Love Sue x Quote
Steve Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 Sorry for the late reply Tracey - I've just got back from Wales! Go to 'My Controls', look down the list of choices till you find 'Board Settings', then uncheck the Daylight Saving Time box. That should sort out your timeslip! Quote
Magenta Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Thanks Steve - It was set at GMT+1hr for some reason!! Happy to be back to normal! Quote
