Sarah

Currently unemployed has there is barely any jobs around or supply work! Starting to wonder if voluntary work may just get me that job! :(

Trying to complete the last 3 assigments of the Early Years Foundation Degree after 3 years whilst having health issues (not good!) :o

Is also a traniee Brownie Leader with a small pack of Brownie guides aged between 7-10 years old! (keeps me busy whilst unemployed xD )

Right this forum is far too distracting! Must get back to getting these assigments done boring, errm is it June yet? :(

Have been......Childminder for 9 years

Preschool Manager for 5 years (PVI setting)

Demoted to Deputy in small rural preschool where I am currently to study FD, currently about 4 weeks away from graduating BA (Hons) Education (specialising Early Years)...

future plans: taking a year to draw breath and then GTP or PGCE in September 2010/11.....eventual goal to be reception teacher...dragging my heals as my own five children are needing me too! But hope to be a reception teacher within the next couple of years, should still have a good twenty years working! :oxD

This is a good opportunity to think about goals - thankyou

Been teaching at the same school since I qualified nearly 8 years ago - it's a great school and I've not had a good enough reason to leave yet!

First 3 years in year R, then 4 years in year 2 now back home in year R as joint leader and loving it!

What a good idea!

Im an NQT teaching in reception.

Not sure about displaying my real name on this though. Anyone could read it and I may not be able to vent any frustrations I have in future. This is a place of comfort and escape after all. :(:oxD

Hi I'm Gill in my other life. :o

I'm a Learning Support TA, currently in Year 1, but I'm 1 to 1 with children that I started with in Nursery, so I'm basically working my way up the school.

Staying with the same class is lovely to watch them grow - & you do get very attached to some of the little dears!!?

Having been a member of this wonderful forum for a long time, there are now so many members that I am finding it difficult to keep track of who is who. We have a brilliant introduce yourself area but I thought it would be interesting to have a quick roll call so please just add your name and your setting type, to help us all identify one another!

Thanks.

:o Hi everyone,

It's nice to find out where everyone is based, good idea! I am a nursery nurse working in a 39 place school nursery class. Been there for 8yrs. now and love it. Before that I worked for Social Services in a family centre for 14 yrs. Didn't love that so much but it paid the bills!
