Happy 5th Birthday Fsf

Recommended Posts

For valentines, I've had a night away in Oxford, lovely hotel which, it turned out, doesnt open on Sundays so we were the only guests. I've been treated to a massage and a day at a swank hotel in Birmingham, had chocolates, and DVD's.

All that from a man who, after being together for 27 years, has forgotten that we dont do valentines day! :o

Or maybe we talked rubbish for the first year and now perfected the art....

Aaah, but Rea wouldn't know since she is a relative newbie. :o

Yes we are Somerset.

Yeh let's do that - I have just applied for my third year at Bath Spa and as you are soon to be EYP I feel we could build a valuable friendship!

Seriously though it is nice to know there are dedicated professionals so close by. :oxD

Oh gosh!! Which year was rubbish???? :o

You all know of course that I was refering to me being a member for nearly 4 years. xD

Maz, I've got a confession, every time I post a message I always 'view' it to see how it looks, thus the high number of views compared to posts. I am the proverbial person in Carly Simon's song "You're so vain", always double checking in the mirror, I'm the same with posts, I re-read mine and think, ooh that was good, there confession over, how vain I am. :oxD:(

Peggy

Oh, and I always thought her song was written for Warren Beatty! :(

Maz

PS Don't think you actually meet the definition of vain Peggy - just thorough!

yes Ian do a report:

HappyMaz: ' a quiet shy retiring member of the community who really must try harder to involve herself more'

Who is Ian? :o

You know me so well mundia: you're surely not old enough to be one of my secondary school teachers are you??

Small world isn't it Shelley, I think of you sometimes when I go to the shop in your village, I look at women thinking is that her?? People will probably start to talk about it/me you know what village's are like!?

I know just what you mean: at my interview for the Foundation Degree a little voice said "this is going to sound odd but are you Mazlittle?

And I'd been sitting at training courses wondering if I could recognise Hali from her photo on her profile....

Oops forgot to say, my autistic chap that I do one on one support left today to go to a specialised school. I was very sad to see him go but I have enjoyed joining in with the party so it's cheered me up......as it often does.

Hi Phil -

Welcome to the Forum! Nice try to slip your post in amongst a blizzard of record seeking posts here, but as mundia said, you've been spotted...

I like the username, but I'm not going to ask why you chose it. :o

I will tell you now it is more to do with the football team i follow than my drinking habits. Don't want a reputation already...

Does your husband mind Peggy - that the florist sent you flowers?

apparently the florist is very 'contemporary' :o

I had to do a double take on that one, rea! How can a 5th birthday have nearly 4 years of excellent advise? Although I'm sure I know what you mean!!! :o

Maz, I think Peggy's single letter posts nearly make up for the people who have viewed without posting!? Now I could do my moderators trick and merge them all!!

ooh, if you merge them how many will they count for just one or 19?

You would be in good company anyway Phil, we like a drop or two of wine here on the fsf! xD

Of course no one really knows if you have a glass of wine or not, we could pretend to drink to be like our peers and really enjoy a nice cup of tea! :o

Virtual alcohol is allowed isn't it, can you drink and type though? that 's when the truth comes out, when the mistakes are frequent amd thwe tsypos aredc too mabbny toi unmdersgftand!!

Of course, Rea could just have meant we were doing well for the first four years, but we've been talking rubbish for the last year. Rea?

or Rea has been a member for only four years :o

Peggy

p.s. I haven't checked her profile
