Mp's
in Staff Lounge
Great stuff - ours "Has used three-word alliterative phrases (e.g. "she sells seashells") 48 times in debates — well below average amongst MPs."

I think a had a migraine for a couple of days after submitting my final ECA!
-
Here's two different ways of doing it.
The first is one I amended from one I downloaded from here and the second (Capitals) is the format we use.
-
So what's next?

Hi flower - do a search for risk assessment as title and you should find what you are looking for

Back in the olden days you couldn't be a childcare practitioner if you'd suffered from depression - and that included post natal depression, as you were considered 'unstable'. I'd like to think that's not the case any more

Ours usually just enjoy running it from hand to hand and letting it trickle over their fingers, a few teaspoons is all I generally give. A couple of drops of food colouring mix in well over time
-
are you not in a position to make your own?
-
Well it was 14 but the one at the end refused to lie down and be eaten!

Haha - the first thing out of one of mine this evening on pickup was "'H' weed on the carpet - goodness, she could wee for England!" Mum's face was a picture! (as was 'H's mum's who was behind)

Sats
in Staff Lounge
I don't remember getting stressed doing the 11+ exam. I think the pressure is all the hype that goes with SATs beforehand. We knew roughly when 11+ was, but there was no 'teaching for the test' we just went into the hall and got on with them. A maths on the morning, and english in the afternoon and a science the next morning and that was it. Mind you, our parents were probably stressed - there was a lot riding on it for us, whether we got into the grammar school or went to the comprehensive.

Oh it's happened to us all! They are unpredictable little souls and that's why we love them too! So, he won't do that again, but you probably will - albeit not in quite the same way. He'll have learnt not to run under tables and you? well probably like me you'll keep on making them squeal with delight at every opportunity!
-
Yes we do too

Thanks for this, our lowest paid assistant gets £6 anyway so it doesn't catch us out

He's had it all our married life! It was unpaid stuf with the Brownies and Guides initially - at least now there's a salary coming in to offset it all. Acually he's very understanding, comes down and changes lightbulbs (very high stepladder job) and has cut the grass when I've asked. Mends doorknobs, puts mice out, just about anything I ask him to do. Every now and then I stuff a bunch of crisp tenners in his hand (when I do the grocery refund) and he enjoys that bit!

Why do people always want dough to 'keep'? We use ours for a very short time, after they've all sneezed into it, wiped their noses with their hands and continued playing with it, dropped bits on the floor and reincorporated it..... yuk! Ours is chucked out after a week max!
-
Ok, well if I go in that way I can get at it to make changes, so it's not frozen that way - it just seems odd that the screen says 'you can access your online sef' or some such above the box that says when it was submitted, but you can't do it from there
-
Well I don't see why not - they are going to find out it's yukky fairly quickly. If you are worried make it without the salt - like pastry dough
Actually thinking about it - that might be a better plan - they may rub it in their eyes, it's not just eating it, is it?
-
oops, brain working faster than fingers! I did of course mean exemplified.
AW shucks, thought you'd come up with something fab!
-
not all the poetry units are explified on the Standards site!
Explified sounds like a good word, what does it mean?
Gonna see if I can slip that one into conversation tomorrow!
