Rebecca Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 The only staff who access Tapestry at home are me (Manager), my Co-manager and my school teacher. We are full day care. All other staff get release time to write up reports and long observations. Otherwise we send home quick photos and video clips to link up with parents. It works for us, I don;t think staff should access Tapestry at home - not because I don't trust them, but because I think if they are at home they should be doing family stuff.
finleysmaid Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 My staff do access at home (I can see what and when on the history list!) they sometimes do their next step planning at home cos then they get to go home early!! also some of them like to take pictures and write notes and then put in later ...their way of working! they use their preschool tablets and everything is password protected 1
Mouseketeer Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Same as FM, we have a staff ‘user’ policy and agreement, again it’s their choice they have 2hrs a week allocated in setting and if ratio’s allow can also use that time between them which I think should be plenty if they manage their time well.

I realise they have separate log ins but the content will be the same? Or will it? Or can it be set up differently? Sorry, so many questions........

Yes if you set the permission 'View other relative's observations' to not permitted for these two parents, then they won't be able to see any observations added by any other linked relatives.
