Tricky, Stargrower - but as this may be your only resource to "prove" someone visited, or did not visit from the local authority etc., i.e with their name and their signature, and date.   I would keep it for some time,  Probably 3-5 years - or would you consider that excessive.   You might be able to scan the document to cd or stick to make life easier on the storage.

I'm thinking...…...at least 30 years...…..I'm going to need a very big locker in my nursing home!:oxD

No seriously I would keep from date of last inspection - no idea if that's the right answer - probably not!

I can not see any rule of time of keeping these visitors documents. I renew my visitors book every year. If I was ever asked about previous years I would make the point about GDPR and keeping visitors information without consent😬
