shanaz Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 Hi, I wanted to ask about funded 2 year old children. Do you know if a setting hasn't got a rating yet can they still take funded 2 year olds? Thank you in advance
FSFRebecca Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 That's an interesting question and I've had a quick Google search, but I can't find a definitive answer unfortunately. Perhaps it depends on the 'need' in your particular area? If I were you, I would phone my local authority and ask them about your particular circumstance. Sorry not to be more helpful
hopeytg Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 we don't have a rating with our new registration number (recently changed from committee to privately owned) and we have funded 2 yr olds - worth speaking to your LA
AliceinWonderland Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 We were still able to take funded 2 yr olds when we hadn't had our first inspection. It may depend on your LA though so worth checking with them.
catma Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 I think the LA can decide if you are suitable. Generally it would be Good or better settings for obvious reasons - vulnerable children should be in the best settings.
