hopeytg
I use Coniston Corporate - they are very helpful and provide a quick service.- I have just bought some t shirts with heat transfer motif costing £4.19 each - not sure how this compares to your previous provider. I think there may have been a set up charge for the artwork but we have used them for a while so I don't know what that was.
louby loo
Anyone used Marks and Spencer's, or Tescos [?] I'm thinking it would save us a job as the parents would do direct, but not sure of the quality.
Mouseketeer
I'm just looking at this too Louby Lou, A - to save us having to order in hundreds of pounds worth B- not having to store them all C - ours our quite expensive for parents and not the quality they used to be and the polo tops are a funny shade. I've just received samples from Tesco, they seem ok for what they will cost, I just registered on their site, I had an email asking for an image of our logo, I suppose it took a couple of weeks for samples to arrive...a polo, sweatshirt and t-shirt, I'm going to put my samples in the was to see how they wash up.
LKeyteach
I have been using Tesco for last year or two. Their embroidery is ok ish. I have a design which is children's faces. One of the faces looks a little evil. But from parents perspective they are cheap and not bad quality. They seem to wash well. I've had no complaints from parents.
Mouseketeer
The embroidery in the samples seemed fine, if a little to big on the small tops, but they said it could easily be made smaller. Do you find parents can what they want when they want it?
finleysmaid
didn't know about Tesco etc ...sounds like a good way to add to the fundraising unfortunately for us our logo doesn't work well embroidered ...we tend to go for screenprint. I need to get 3 quotes so any other ideas appreciated!
grumpymum2
Have used a company called Welbeck for quite a few years now. They have a reasonably low number (12) for re-orders once you are set up and do both printing and embroidery. Did us some nice fleecy reversible waterproof jackets a few years back. www.welbecksports.co.uk - have a looK. Their own brand polos and hoodies wash well.
Mouseketeer
The other company we've aks for samples is 'Brigade', our school use them and again parents order from them, they are a little cheaper than our current supplier but not as cheap as Tesco. LKeyteach
With tesco we selected to have t shirts, sweat shirts, fleeces and fLeece hats and they are all reasonably priced. I am using local supplier for our outdoor suits as they were good quality. Parents have all been able to get what they want in good time. Can't fault it really.
Mouseketeer
another question LK, have you found the number of children wearing uniform has dropped because parents don't bother so much now having to order their own ? Ours isn't compulsory but I'd say 90% per session wear it.
