From September we are trialing a lunchbox service. Children staying for lunch club will buy their lunchbox from us for £1.95 and when they arrive in the morning parents will be able to pick any five items from a row of 10 baskets, they will write their child's name on the bag and then pick their items, put them in the bag and hand them over to us to put in the fridge until lunchtime. Two of the baskets will be drinks which will be small water bottles or cartons of milk. There will be small rolls or sandwiches each day (choice of two or three fillings) small fruits (bananas, apples, oranges, bunch of grapes) and small treats (raisin box, home made flapjack, home made oat cookie, pack of two crackers with a cheese triangle, small yoghurt, and occasionally things like brownies)

Yes, the cook at our biggest setting is going to make for the two offering the service. The five items will have to include one drink and at least one fruit and savoury - they couldn't choose five treats!
