Like you MegaMum was disappointed/surprised by the ending.....didnt spoil my enjoyment though and kept me fully focused on something other than work! ha ha! I am currently reading 'Oh Dear Silvia' (Dawn French) thoroughly enjoying it - it so very different and contains lots of 'dark humour' which suits me!
