zigzag
HELP!! My wonderful administrator is leaving to take up full time hours at her bank, she is so much more than just my administrator, she is my friend, my rock and a constant support. I am already snowed under as manager, key person, SENCO and leading an inexperienced staff and now I am taking on her duties. Does anyone use a software package in their pre-school setting? I would love to hear what it is, what it can do and is is worth it? Love any feedback please as thinking about buying a package but not sure which one. Panders
http://www.superfox.org.uk/ i have to say this didn't suit me, but I don't have many admin problems and like to devise my own system, but I think from what others have said in Kent they get on with it really well
MarshaD
There is another thread about software. Lots of people seem to like Kindersoft. I was going to take a trial but it's windows based and I'm Mac - there's a way round this apparently, but it was making my brain hurt so I've stalled for the time being. Stargrower
I've used Instant Nursery Manager for the past 6 or so years. It is quite flexible and has a daycare package which is what we use, or a pre-school package for part time, term time only settings.
lynned55
Back in the Summer term I registered with a company that gave registered charities their management software for free. It had the potential to be very useful, some of it was still in the making, so I thought I would look at it for September. HOWEVER- I cant find it anywhere now and cannot remember the name even.
