Guest Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 I am looking for a 'hello' song for my reception class. I do not want to use what I did in nursery as I have many children who are coming with me to my new class. I currently use: 'Let's say hello together, Hello, hello, hello, Let's say hello together, Hello, hello, hello.' Any examples would be really appreciated. :1b
blondie Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 we sing (and wave) hello children, hello children hello children its nice to see you here hello everyone hello everyone hello everyone its nice to see you here. did learn another one at a music session will try to find that
Rafa Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 We use Mr Tumbles sign and sing "Hello hello its good to see you.......
Stargrower Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 A good one for learning names is Hello (name) how are you? Hello (name) who's sitting next to you?" The child says the name and the song moves on to that child. Sung to the tune of "Nice one Cyril" (if anyone's old enough to remember that song!) 2
finleysmaid Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 if you have anyone at school who is involved in brownies/guides they have loads...enough to learn one a week I reckon don't know if they still print their song books but they have loads of ideas!!!
Guest Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Thanks everyone. What I'm looking for is a short, simple song we can sing before the register, rather than a 'circle time' type song that involves singing names to welcome individual children - with a class of 27 it wouldn't be practicable! x
