its a form produced by ofsted for trustees/committee to fill in to tell them about their role etc (it is virtually a copy of the info they put on the BDS...complete pain and not really worth it in my opinion...but im sure ofsted have their reasons!)

that's why I don't know what it is as I have no committee:) thank you

It's for managers on non domestic and any staff on domestic premises too as we have to do them and we don't have a committee either :-)

If they've subscribed then you can check online otherwise I would do a new one!

Even more confused now, person had one done for a job 2 months ago (not child related), then also took up a post in a school last month who accepted her recent dbs, she herself hasn't enrolled for update service, could the employer who the dbs check was done for have done this ? But from the ofsted dbs info on accepting previous DBS's it states that they have to have been carried out under the 'child's workforce' so should the school have accepted it ? Think we'll just start again....its all a b****y farce ...and a nice little earner as no one can work out if they can/ can't accept previous ones :/

Thanks Finleysmaid, I've only yesterday discovered there are two paths to the DBS application, I chose the wrong one for our committee/volunteers!

well so far my method is working well! (that'll put the kibosh on it!) had another one come through too...only the trustee forgot to tell me and i'm not being informed by capita.

Thanks Finleysmaid. I have filed for future reference. It is almost the path i followed except my committee all started off with EY2's and then followed the link from there. However it really was the EY2's that proved the most difficult one to do!
