Jo43
I am currently trying to carry out a 2 year old check. The child is 28 months and is developmentally ok in all areas but does walk on tip-toes. Should this be included in the check? Would you recommend that they see the health visitor? Keyup
Personally I would add it to the notes so that when they take your check to the health visitor this will prompt them to check it out! Its examples like this that make our two year checks relevant as the child may not do it in the 30mins they see the health visitor!x
diesel10
I looked after a child many years ago that walked on their tip toes, ok in everything else. Years later I found out that they were diagnosed as dyspraxic. I was shocked.
Guest
We had a child who walked on tiptoes through-out her nursery education years only to be diagnosed with mild cerebral palsy at age 7. Her younger brother, now 3, is being closely monitored.
