Melba Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 How do we feel this evening? I am still undecided I have to say. Quote
sunnyday Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Hello Melba I'm not a Scot........but I am delighted to find that Scotland are still 'with us'! :1b Quote
Cait Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 From where I'm sitting in the living room, I can see Scotland quite clearly across the Solway. We I say 'I can see' because generally I can. It's been hidden behind a blanket of mist from the Solway for the last few days. I'm pleased to know we won't be looking across at a different country, and that we can still just pop across to Gretna shopping outlet, and up to see our son in Edinburgh quite easily. I've not been convinced that the full ramifications were properly thought through, and this huge vote of no confidence in Alex Salmond suggests that many people thought that too 1 Quote
Stargrower Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Wow, Cait what a place you must live in to be able to look out of your window and see Scotland in the mist! I truly believe Scotland made the right decision. Well done them. Quote
Guest sn0wdr0p Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I think the right decision has been made by the Scots but my heart goes out to those YES campaigners who felt so strongly and put heart and soul into their fight. As a Yorkshire lass I feel very strongly about my county and heritage of which I am very proud. I only wish the rest of the world could learn from this peaceful vote. Quote
