What a lovely idea, Helen! Could you include the story of the Little Red Hen and make some bread? Many years ago I covered this story as part of our 'Once upon a time' topic - we ground some corn and used it to make playdough - which was very interesting! You could compare yeast - do some science - add warm water to some and compare with other yeast to which you add cold and hot water - use fresh and dried yeast.
