Madmum Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Hi! Just wondered how many grids people are using to track progress - we are in a maintained nursery. It has been suggested today we have too many for each child, so I am interested to see what others are doing!
redjayne Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 I only have one big grid for tracking progress, and this has all of the children on it , I have only just started using it so not sure how well it is going to work. Individual children's progress is tracked and updated termly on a progress review form. It's not a grid as such just a two sided document that we complete and share with the parents .
Guest Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Redjayne - your system sounds much less complicated than ours . . . would you be able to put an example proforma on here please? Many thanks in anticipation
Possum Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Each of the children in my group are on an overview grid so I can track where we all are and see any gaps I could help with. They have a grid type of thing for the end of each term that we share with parents and that's about it really. Why? How many have you got?
