Froglet Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Hello, Does anyone know of anywhere I can find really good examples of role play areas - ideally with photos to look at? Or information about what should/could be in a good role play area? I've been asked to develop mine and I'm at a bit of a loss as to what constitutes a 'good' role play area. I tend to prefer quite simple things so children can help set them up easily - in fact have set them up and just have my help to make it a little more 'structured'. I also like to be able to change them quickly to respond to interests so am less keen on an epic construction that takes a week or two to put together by which time they'll probably have lost interest anyway! I have googled images but was just wondering if anyone had any particular recommendations.
sunnyday Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Hi Helen Have you had a look at the 'Gallery' - top right hand of screen....there are some photos there!
Froglet Posted February 15, 2012 Author Posted February 15, 2012 Oops sorry - meant to say yes I had looked there and at all the lovely displays - thank you for posting everyone and sharing your ideas.
Susan Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Some of the Featherstone little bills have some good ideas. There is also a book by Neil Griffith called a corner to learn" but that is more extravagant in set up.
