Guest Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 How about a laminated fish and sticky back velcro? We use metres of it every year.
Guest Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 We've used felt for sticking names to a board with velcro, works well. We have also used magnetic strip onto a board painted with magnetic paint.
Inge Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 we too used magnets on a magnetic board or magnetic paint on a wall or shaped board.. velcro sticks best to a fluffy surface, so felt or we were given noticeboards which velcro stuck to.. also baize from an old snooker table was excellent! Inge
Lucie Posted July 20, 2009 Author Posted July 20, 2009 Thanks, can you get magnetic paint in different colours?
Cait Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 It's just the one I believe, but you can paint over it with other colours and it still works
Deb Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 We use self-adhesive velcro spots which stick well to carpet tiles.
blondie Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 hi i made a fish for name cards - i used card which i covered in sticky back paper (just like in blue peter) and put velcro pieces all over the body of it - the name cards were circles of shimmery card with velcro on the back
blondie Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 sorry meant to say i used the sticky velcro - i am not great at sowing so anything that sticks is good for me
