thumperrabbit Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 We are raising ours this September by 50p to £7.00 - we are sessional open 4 mornings a week 2 1/2 hours and have to take children from 2yrs otherwise we wouldn't exist. We are waiting to find out in April with reference to how our funding will be changed. Quote
Guest Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 err ... what harmonisation of funding between PVI and maintained!? Here you go http://www.dcsf.gov.uk/everychildmatters/e.../fundingreform/ TBH I only know about it because I was invited to take part in the consultation and costing exercise in our LA. Cheers RR Quote
Mouseketeer Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 was thinking our fees would go in line with neg funding this sept at last (have been working towards it for the last few years - now £10 per 3 hr session...needs to be 10.68) but committee havent even met to discuss this or pay rises, have explained that its actually the non funded that costs the setting more due to lower ratio.............but still musn't give up hope yet theres still a week to go Quote
Shiny Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 We charge £8.50 for a 2 1/2 session for children not entitled to funding , funding is £9.02 a session. We also charge £9.02 for children who are entitled to receive funding but choose not to use it with us. We have phased this in over the last wo years in line with several other groups in our areas. smiles Did it not go up to £9.24 in April?! Or am I imagining it?! Quote
Guest Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Hi all,I am a supervisor of a sessional pre school in Surrey and we currently charge £7.75 and in September this is increasing to £8.50 which is less than the NEG for this area, we are the cheapest in the area due to being in an area of dreprivation. Hope this of help! Lindsy Quote
