Rea
Oh, do I sign below or above his name?
Upsy Daisy
I think just in front of his name but not certain!
Possum
It would go something like Yours sincerely Mr. J Bloggs You put pp before his name in your pen and write your own name under the yours sincerely where he would usually sign
Upsy Daisy
Sorry - just realised what I wrote! PP in front of his name - sign below it Hope it's not too late

HappyMaz
Sorry - just realised what I wrote! PP in front of his name - sign below it Hope it's not too late You were right the first time, AlisonP according to my secretarial training. Which I admit was some time ago now, but these things do stick! You sign where he would sign his name, and then put pp in front of this name underneath the signature. pp (I think) stands for 'per pro' which means on behalf of - so you sign your name under 'yours sincerely' and then indicate who you're signing the letter on behalf of. Am I the only person wondering what Rea is signing on behalf of someone else? No? That'll just be nosey old me then! Maz
Upsy Daisy
I stand recorrected! Thankyou Maz. I did wonder what PP stood for. You're not the only nosey one - go on .... you ask her.

Rea
Oh if it was you I could just put 2" high reminders all over the forum. But I do like google maps, I stood outside the one debtors house earlier. I know where she lives
Upsy Daisy
Ughh! Unpaid bills - The one bit of childcare that I really hate! You could have made up something really exciting instead. Oh and Maz - I am usually sitting down - often on the floor surrounded by children and toys. Standing up is light relief but it's getting harder to get up there! Knees don't like childcare do they?
