Beau
That's great news bluestar, thanks for letting us know. If anyone else is thinking of linking up in some way then I suggest the Settings Exchanges forum is the place to head.

Cait
Our ofsted inspection is on line today and it gives a mention of linking up with Happy maz's setting with a letter as good practice That's useful to know. They liked our links with children in other countries. We sponsor a child in Thailand and one in Ethiopia through Compassion UK. We send them pictures and links to what the children are learning and they draw pictures for the children. Jirapha in Thailand is now 9 (can't believe it) and Etaferaw in Ethiopia is 4. We'll take on another 2 year old when Etaferaw is 6. It's really worthwhile and costs only £18 a month - really well worth it for the children to understand how lucky they are. We send money to the girls for christmas and birthdays and can send other money gifts during the year. The children were shocked to find that Jirapha used hers to buy a mattress for christmas and a blanket for her birthday. Really brought a lump to the throat! here if you are interested in finding out more

Guest
We have arelation ship with a Nursery in Africa and raise money and exchange pictures etc.It does make me feel something is wrong when we are talking about the quality of paper we are giving to our under fives and thse children have to walk miles to a plain concrete box for their pre-school time. How spoilt are we
