Guest Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I'm going back to work!!! YAY! After being off since my ankle op on the 9th, Monday will be my first day back! I had a meeting at work today and I'm going to be doing mornings only for the next 2 weeks to take me up to the Christmas break. I think it's going to be very tiring but I just can't wait! I've got to go and see occupational health on Monday afternoon and see how long they think I should be doing part time, maybe it will carry on in the new year too. I'm just so excited about going back!! Woo hoo! Quote

I just can't wait to welcome my class in off the buses on Monday morning and do 'good morning'! So exciting! Daunting though too. Plus I expect to be very tired in the afternoons! Quote

Guest Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 (edited) I did go to bed but didn't sleep, watched some daytime TV instead! There is still chance of a little nap before it's too late to ruin my sleep tonight should I feel like I'm dropping! I had a lovely day, what timing I had, going back when half my class were off for Eid! I had 5 kids in, and baring in mind I have 3 TAs, we had almost 1 each! It was a lovely way to get back into it. The kids looked a little puzzled today, but the ones that can speak had remembered my name so that's something! They just kept asking where the supply teacher was! Looking forward to tomorrow.
