HappyMaz Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Sorry if I appear a little slow but did Mazlittle become HappyMaz then? and if so, why? Not at all slow, shirel. Yes, I did start off as Mazlittle (little being the first part of my then surname, and Maz because its quicker to type than Marion) but I let my subscription lapse (organisation was never my strong point). Then when the withdrawal symptoms were too hard to bear I rejoined. But couldn't work out how to re-join with the old subscription (and anyway the 'little' bit was no longer applicable) so became HappyMaz because Happy is the first part of my group's name. Does all that make any sense at all? Actually reading this little explanation would give anyone who didn't know me well a real insight into my life's history. One day I'll be sane, organised and will manage my time beautifully. but just don't hold your breath! Maz Quote
hali Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 i was just going to say wont hold my breath Quote
Guest Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 So is it ok to answer a post with OH I see or should we start using Geraldine's open ended questions on the other post I have just looked at to help us along? What do you think? Quote

Steve Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Hah - well if you insist! 1/ What would you do if the forum wasn't here? ( doesn't bear thinking about) I'd have to find a job to start with. And a hobby for all the extra hours in the day. Perhaps I'd have to start a forum? 2/ Where did you work when you first joined the forum, do you still work in the same place? I joined on the 14th February 2003, working from home, trying to learn how to do website design so I could start the forum. That's all a bit circular isn't it? I still work in the same house, although I keep gettingshunted around from room to room... 3/ Why is the forum soooooooo addictive? Everyone is scared they'll get talked about if they don't keep an eye on each other? 4/ When do you log in.......? Usually between 6.45 and 7.15 am weekdays, and from then on throughout the day. Later at the weekends because I get intercepted by the children. 5/ How did we survive without the forum? I can't remember that far back. My brain tells me the Forum has always been there, like the Universe - time didn't exist before it. 6/ If we didn't have the forum, how would we keep up to date with EY issues? Easy - I'd just ask Helen! Quote
Inge Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 1/ What would you do if the forum wasn't here? ( doesn't bear thinking about) MMmmm Hard one that.... perhaps the housework may get done?? probably not! Inge Quote
Inge Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 2/ Where did you work when you first joined the forum, do you still work in the same place? Pre-school as manager...still same place but more as mentor for new manager, making sure she does the job!! still work there part time though.. Inge Quote

Inge Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 3/ Why is the forum soooooooo addictive? Friendship and acceptance... no one is ever wrong just had thier own opinions to add to the mix. Making it a great p[lace to see another perspective Inge Quote
Guest Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Happy Birthday, thanks for all your help. Quote
