JacquieL Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 But should it be moving? I can't get mine to move and one or two others say the same. Quote
Steve Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Hi Jacquie - Not that I approve of these pestilential animated avatars (grumpy old man smiley needed here), but if you send me yours, I'll see if I can find out the problem. I think you know my email address! Quote
Guest Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Not sure who's but someone had a very fast jumping bunny rabbit and I did find it quite distracting when reading a long post. I've still not got around to finding one for me, any suggestions on what type of avatar would suit????? ( Keep it clean please ) Peggy Quote
Guest Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Hali, How did you know that is my favourite animal, and thanks. My favourite childrens book is Owl babies too any other suggestions? Peggy Quote
Susan Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 I find the moving ones very difficult sometimes and its nice to be able to recognise peoples posts by their avatar too! Minimise your trampolining picture!! Quote

Steve, is that 100cm X 100cm ( pixels or inches) ??? Peggy I will find a wise owl ( glad you all chose to leave out the "old" in this particular title ) and have it on standby for when i am shattered from jumping in the snow. Promise my picture will not jump on screen though. Peggy Quote

Steve Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Oops, sorry mundia - using your name in vain. It was indeed Susan's post I saw. 100 pixels Peggy. I hope I can get the system to reduce the size automatically soon - it should do it already, but well, you know... Quote
Guest Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 An owl for Peggy 56810[/snapback] Thanks for finding the owl Marion, I shall save it in my picture folder, maybe use it as a screen saver. I shan't use it here as moving ones distract me from my reading. It must be my age or vision Peggy Quote
mundia Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Steve, thats a relief, i thought my alter ego was taking over. Peggy there are pletny of wise (not old!!) owls if you google... Quote
Susan Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Guilty! Dont you need to reduce the size of pictures to use them as avatars then? Quote
Guest Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 Marion, You seem to be changing your avatar regulaly. Where do you find them - they are great! Quote
