C1403 Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 (edited) Hi All A very quick question regarding policies. When you make amendments to policies do you have a staff meeting to adopt the changes or so hand updated copies to staff and ask them to read and then sign to say they have done so. We are planning to review a policy a month. Thanks Edited November 19, 2017 by C1403 Change
Mouseketeer Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Hi, we are committee managed (loosely) so they adopt the policies, I then give all staff a copy, if it has an amendment I highlight that before printing, I then keep a sheet that they all sign and it stays in the front of the office set of policies.
FSFRebecca Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Don't forget to let your parents know if there have been updates to the Statutory Policies
zigzag Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 I update them then they go before the committee at the next meeting and the policies that have been changed are adopted are then written down in the minutes of the meeting. Changes are then shared with staff. Actually you have just reminded me that it must be that time of year again when I check them all?
C1403 Posted November 21, 2017 Author Posted November 21, 2017 Thanks. It appears we have done our part (adopt the policy, sign etc) but the manager needs to inform staff.
