Funding portal help

 Share

Recommended Posts

I have only been open for 7 weeks and all new to using the portal to submit funding hours.

I have two question that i'm hoping someone can answer.

If a child has started late in the term, i.e 28th Feb, after headcount then i fill in the adjustment form.

but there is a tick box saying 'present during census' do i leave this blank?

Also if a child wants to start after adjustment cut off day i.e 6th March does that mean i wont get the funding for them?

Any advice would be highly appreciated ::1a

Hi, do you not have a late claim option on your portal site. You should be able to see what to do through the guidance docs. If not I would phone the funding department for your LA.

On the odd occasion that I have telephoned ours for queries they have been extremely helpful.

Good luck in your new venture.

I am also new to the LA's online portal, I presume they are all similar? You should be able to complete an Amendment form at any time and the cut off date is usually shown on the system.. I think it is roughly 2 weeks before the end of term.. not 100% sure.

The census date I think expired mid February.. 17th? Sorry I am vague.. so this is just an option to tell the government if this child was at your setting prior to the census so they can include the information.. I believe it is now too late for this.
