Guest Posted November 9, 2016 Posted November 9, 2016 Could Short Note be added as an option under the SEN heading? Quote
Lauren Posted November 9, 2016 Posted November 9, 2016 Hi hannah_a, We don't currently have plans to add that into Tapestry, although if anyone else sees this post and thinks it would be useful please do let us know! We do however, have an additional text box than can be activated for observations which might be a good place for you to put notes about specific targets and the support you are providing to the child. You can turn that on from your control panel by going to settings > observations. Once you have done that, you can decide whether parents are able to see that box or not from the settings > relatives page. It might also interest you to know that we are planning to add various SEN frameworks such as the NCB Journals and Routes for Learning. Quote
Guest Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Hi Lauren, I am referring to the SEND term 'Short Note' which is a short note of concern about a child. So when pulling off reports currently, we can select SEN Support Plan or EHCP. There is a stage before SEN Support Plan for children, it is entitled 'Short Note'. It would be fantastic if I could quickly see children who are on a 'Short Note'. Thanks, Hannah Quote
finleysmaid Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Hi Hannah I think you might find short note is a local term to your borough, There is no requirement for 'short note ' in the SEND requirements. Quote
Claire_Stemp Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Hello Is there any plans to add an option to tick whether children receiving Speech and language therapy? :1b Quote
Helen Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 You can create as many bespoke groups as you wish- eg for 'Short Note' children or those receiving S&L therapy. This tutorial shows you how. :1b Quote
Claire_Stemp Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Hi thank you I have just done that, just had hoped it would be available as an option to tick when you register a new child. Never mind! Quote
