Steve Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Hi all - Some technical difficulties have led to a postponement of the server move. Hopefully we'll be able to complete this next week! Apologies for the inconvenience caused by the FSF non-availability this morning! Quote
Guest Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Hope you get it to work next time! What bad timing that I'm off work poorly when there was no forum for me to catch up on! I'm tending to read and not post as much now I'm not working in FS but I do still love a good read. Quote
Steve Posted February 9, 2006 Author Posted February 9, 2006 Hi all - Just to let you know that you're now viewing the FSF on its new server. Some of it will appear a little slow for a day or two as things settle in, but you should find that things are a lot more reliable from now on! If you find any areas that are not working or experience any problems, just let me know, either by email (steve@foundation-stage.info) or by replying to this post. Quote

Sue R Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Hi Steve, Another one for you - - some group icons are missing for me! Actually I think it's the 'Gardeners' only. Have you done away with us? And you'd better not have forgotten the poor girl!!! Sue Quote
Steve Posted February 10, 2006 Author Posted February 10, 2006 Well, lets get rid of the easy ones first - "And they shall have group icons" Quote
Steve Posted February 10, 2006 Author Posted February 10, 2006 Most of the recent uploads should now be available as well. Mel I've tested the brain gym one. The growing topic article is back although it's still not working perfectly. Quote

It comes up with error message saying that I'm not logged on, although I am. If I enter my username and password again then it works. Melc Quote
Sue R Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Funny, that. If I try to log on on the Home Page I get into some kind of twilight zone where I keep having to login ad infinitum, so I've taken to going to the Forum index and logging in there..... Suppose I should have mentioned it, Steve?? Sue Quote
Beau Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Perhaps someones trying to tell you something Sue. Quote
Steve Posted February 12, 2006 Author Posted February 12, 2006 Some of these problems may be being caused by the fact that a lot of the pages are using the IP address of the new server (look at your address bar and instead of the usual www.foundation-stage.info you'll see 83.223.whatever). This is a temporary thing, but may not get sorted out for a few days (it being half term and me being a new father (ok it's a puppy but you know what I mean...). But I'll be working on it for as much time as I can - if you see the problem go away it's because the puppy and children have been quiet! Quote
