Wonderstuff16
How does everyone keep up with their letters and contracts for staff. I am finding it increasingly more difficult to compile and make sure I am up to date with current regulations. We have a lady going on maternity leave soon, change of hours lettter, maternity cover lettters contract changes etc etc. Do people out source this or just google for inspiration. It seems most letter templates downloaded off the internet you need to pay a susbrciption for to access.
GFCCCC
PSLA have a book to support managing staff which gives sample letters and templates etc. I think you can buy it whether or not you are a member.
lsp
Yep GFCCCC my starting point as well. They give you an access code to download any updates and links to legislation.
Guest
We use PLA stuff and tweak to suit our setting.

Wonderstuff16
Thanks for your replies. I do use the PSLA website and have the Publication download for Managing Staff but there are no template letters for maternity leave and maternity cover. It's confusing when someone is going on maternity leave who works term-time!
FSFRebecca
Also we use ACAS - although they don't have template letters they do have extremely useful guidance and advice lines that can help you make sure you haven't missed anything. I've called them before and talked through things that I have already written to make sure that I haven't made a mistake. Does this add anything? ACAS maternity leave.
