JJA Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Hello, I have always sent my kitchen staff on full Food Hygiene training via the local authority, but see that 'EduCare' do an online course for half the price - does anyone use this? Is it 'acceptable'? Any info on content? Thanks Quote
Guest Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Hi - we use an on line service for food hygiene through virtual college - was acceptable in our recent inspection too! Inspector also advised that we could if we wanted train staff through staff meetings and issue in-house certificates - this was taking into account that most staff here had accessed level 2 training and the in- house would be merely be a refresher and updating any changes! diesel10 Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 I did the educare through our preschool learning alliance membership and thought it was quite good. I haven't used it for inspection purposes though. Quote
Stargrower Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Yes, online training. We got the same advice as Ancaster from EHO when they inspected. Quote
MarshaD Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 We used saferfoodhandler think it's about £12 you get a small discount if you're NDNA. Seems to do the trick. Quote
