tish501 Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 That time of year again.....not sure who to go with this year...Albany,Morton Michel...who has the best price in these lean times iyo ?? thanks Quote
narnia Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I go with Pre-School Learning alliance. even with the additional cost of their membership, it's the best deal I could find. Morton Michel told me they couldn't compete with the price when I asked them for a quote. 1 Quote
tish501 Posted November 12, 2015 Author Posted November 12, 2015 Thanks Narnia will check it out...also for their courses I have heard about xx Quote
BroadOaks Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 We have used Morton Michel for years. In this time we have managed to get a reduced quote from another insurance company and Morton Michel have always responded with a slight reduction and usually inline with the quotes from the other company. I will certainly be looking around for more lower quotes in the future, and why not! Quote
narnia Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I like the PSLA one and when you factor in the free training, it really is good value for money 1 Quote
Stargrower Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I also used Morton Michel for years. This year I got a quote from Towergate which was over £200 less per year. Morton Michel said they couldn't compete so we went with Towergate. We got more cover for far less money, so a no-brainer! Quote
tish501 Posted November 12, 2015 Author Posted November 12, 2015 Will check Towergate too before taking the plunge x Quote
Guest Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 We're with Towergate too and have been for a couple of years. Always been very happy with their service and their prices Quote
AliceinWonderland Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I'm with Morton Michel too, not due for renewal until April. Not sure how their prices compare but did receive good service from them last winter when we had a burst pipe under the toddler room floor, had to rip the whole floor up! but they paid out no trouble. tish501 Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 I was insured with a tiny company locally....when we had a freak snowstorm at 4pm on 15 Jun 2009.....our conservatory roof collapsed after 15 mins of snow and about a foot depth on the roof (children safely up on cupboards when the 3 ins of water flowed thru at 4.30pm...we had 8 or 9 dads and staff sweeping all the ice out of the fire doors.,water tub catching the worst of the roof ice....what a nightmare..people could not get out of their doors in the village.....but our Insurance company were magnificent by 8pm the assessor had been....warm air blowers installed to dry it out....brilliant sunny day the day after,so all the toys Miltoned and laid out to dry in the brilliant sunshine.....and we opened the next day...with limited access...great excitement for the children....brilliant support from staff and villagers.....and new roof went up ,then new floor needed last year.hope it never happens again. Guest Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 I've always used William Taylor Insurance who are based in Ockenden in Essex and found them very helpful - lovely lady called Emma. Their policy is with Ecclesiastical and my premiums have only ever increased by a small amount each year. Quote
tish501 Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 That is my tiny local company,grumpymum.....they were excellent when we had our snowstorm xxx Quote
kristina Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I've always been with the PSLA however this year Towergate came in with a decent quote and better cover so I switched. Quote
