Froglet
I have just finished reading a book about Bletchley Park and am inspired to go and visit. I'm wondering if anyone else has been and would recommend it. It's quite a journey to get there for me. Website looks good and seems like there's enough to see there to make a long journey worth it. Steve
We've been, although several years ago now. It's very atmospheric, and really gives the feel of the 1940s. I'd recommend it, certainly if you're engaged enough to have read a book about it! I wouldn't bank on Benedict Cumberbatch being there though if that is what is driving you.

It was a book group book which I was interested by but not necessarily expecting to enjoy and now I'm all intrigued! Benedict would be a bonus but I haven't actually seen the Imitation game! Thanks for the replies everyone. Have heard other positive things so will see if I can fit a visit in before term starts again.
finleysmaid
perhaps you could organise it as a school trip and then get the children to write in code

Maybe we could send the permission letters home in code and only if they crack it can they come!
