Guest
Hi Please can anyone help me work out holiday pay for a member of staff who only worked with us from after Feb half term until last Friday?! We are a term-time only setting... Thanks!
Guest
Would it be 7.26 minutes, mulitplied by the actual hours worked (hours worked are different each month) = minutes worked / 60 = hours holiday pay? (Using the PLA calculator)
diesel10
I wouldn't over complicated it. She has worked 18 weeks of the 38 term so I would pay her approx half your entltlement.
SueJ
Have you tried the government calculator? https://www.gov.uk/calculate-your-holiday-entitlement/y
Guest
I wouldn't over complicated it. She has worked 18 weeks of the 38 term so I would pay her approx half your entltlement. But her weekly hours have varied over those weeks - I want to pay her what she's entitled to (and not more - or less!)
Guest
Have you tried the government calculator? https://www.gov.uk/calculate-your-holiday-entitlement/y I did this basing it on 'casual or irregular hours' and it came up with the same answer, so I'm hoping that it's right?! Guest
sum up all the hours she has completed with you and times it 12.07%. I think it is the easiest way. For example, if she completed over the period of time from Feb to now 210h, the holiday entitlement will be 210x12.07%= 25h
