Guest emz_m1
Hi all We are focusing on minibeasts this half term - I love this topic, but have not done this topic for some years now in Reception. I am stuck on CLL ideas, apart from the usuals (re-tell a story and information writing). I would ideas to grip and hold the children's attention. We are focusing on a minibeast a week. We read Hungry Caterpillar this week (which they loved) and already have had some nice work from it. Any ideas will be appreciated.

finleysmaid
What learning objective do you need to teach ? This would narrow down your search for ideas. :1b
Guest janej
for the bad tempered ladybird - you could link with feelings - when do children get bad tempered and write about this or write a conversation between the friendly ladybird and the bad tempered ladybird
