pporteus Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Hello. I teach in Cumbria but have joined the EYFS Forum on a personal subscription before I realised about the LEA subscription facility. I was wondering if there were any other EYFS/Yr 1 practitioners from Cumbria who also regularly use the Forum. Thanks
Cait Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I do, although I have just officially retired this summer, I will still be going in to help with ratios one morning a week and giving a hand with admin.
pporteus Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 Other than the fee, are there any advantages to subscribing through the county, such as access to local forums etc? Thanks
Cait Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) Yes there is a Cumbria forum, where training items get posted, handouts etc. if you get in touch with Steve or Sue they may be able to connect you to it? Don't know but worth a try! Edited August 14, 2014 by Cait
pporteus Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 Thanks....how do I contact Steve or Sue though?!
Beau Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I've messaged Sue, hopefully she'll get you sorted soon! 2
Cait Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Thanks Carol. To message someone, if you can see a post they have made, the you just hover your mouse pointer over their name and an option will come up to send them a message. If you can't see a post they have made, do a search by using the search facility on the top bar, and choosing to search for members. Once you have found someone's 'home page' you will see the option to send them a message 1
