found these extra verses of one of our favourite rhymes - hope you like them?

 

Two little dickie birds

sitting on a wall

One named Peter

One named Paul

Fly away Peter

Fly away Paul

Come back Peter

Two little tadpoles

Swimming in a lake

One named Jessie

One named Jake

Swim away Jessie

Swim away Jake

Come back Jessie

two little butterflies

Flying through the air

Buzzing round the hive

Good idea to add diff actions for children to act out...need to think up some more :)

There are several verses for twinkle twinkle that never seem to get used, which is a shame as they are lovely

We made up another this afternoon

 

Two little toddlers sitting in a pram

One called Stephanie, one called Sam

Go to sleep Stephanie, go to sleep Sam

Wake up Stephanie, wake up Sam.
