Guest
We have been told that our water might be off for a day as work is carried out. Does anyone know if we are allowed to stay open if we get bottled water to drink and have buckets to flush the toilet? Interested to know if there is any legal issue here. woodlands1997
I think it should be fine, and if it's off for extended period then they will have to provide water for you to use x
larnielass
I wouldn't be happy to open without running water. How will you wash hands? I'm sure there is something in the EYFS about using running water.
hopeytg
We had a similar issue when the contractor dug through our pipe - I checked with our Improvement Advisor and she said as long as you had 'risk assessed ' it was fine. we bought bottled water and a parents lent us a large water carrier for toilets. Bottled water for drinks and hand washing were fine.
