tinkerbell1403
Afternoon All, I will be going on maternity leave in February and my deputy will be covering the management of the preschool in my abscene. I am informing OFSTED of this temporary change but does anyone know if there is a specific form for this or do I just write a letter or email directly to them? I found the EY3 Notification to OFSTED form from July 2012 but wasnt sure if this was the right form as it seems to be the form used when staff associated with the setting leave. Any ideas? Thanks
sunnyday
Hi tinkerbell1403 and congrats on the baby! :1b I would just email them - you can always ask in the message if they want any 'special form' completed - that's what I would do anyway - couldn't tell you if that's the 'right' answer though!
louby loo
I'd do as sunny day suggested- then you can print off the email as evidence that you have followed there advice. Congrats on baby x
SazzJ
I just put a letter in writing then they sent the suitable person (sorry not sure of name) forms out for deputy to complete and she had to undergo a suitable person interview. Ofsted informed me on the same day as interview that she was deemed suitable x
