Panders Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Some little while ago, somebody posted about making scratch cards, they mixed a couple of things together and then the children could scratch it off to reveal what was underneath. Have tried searching can't find a thing - any chance anyone out there knows what I am prattaling on about? We just wanted to do something newish along encouragement for making marks for a purpose - could use magic writing, i.e. candle and then paint but this little idea popped into my head today. Quote
skinnybird Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 we got the children to colour a paper plate with wax crayons and then painted the plates black . they then had fun scratched some of the black paint away. Quote
Cait Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 You could do as we did when we were children and colour the surface in wax crayons in pretty blocks of colour and then cover it up with a black wax crayon and scratch through. 1 Quote
